The sludge cake hopper is a collection and storage device for the dewatering sludge cake after dewatering equipment. The sludge cake will be input on top and discharge at bottom. The hopper body will be designed to resist the bending stress by inside pressure. When the sludge reaches a certain amount, the valve at the bottom of the hopper will be opened to discharge the sludge cake to the truck directly.
🔹 Indoor Installation: In newly built sludge dewatering rooms, the dehydrator is typically placed on the second floor, allowing the sludge hopper to be fixed on the second flat floor. This allows garbage trucks to catch the sludge directly at the bottom, making it convenient to operate and maintain.
🔹 Outdoor/Ground Installation: If placed on flat ground, a scaffold is usually used to raise the sludge hopper. The height and width of the scaffold are designed to allow truck entry and exit. Sludge is fed into the hopper by a shaftless screw conveyor.
